We were going to leave Fort Collins Monday morning but there was so much wind we decided to delay a day. We ran errands around Fort Collins, replaced the handle on the washing machine..and had one last walk and dinner with Lindsay.

Tuesday we got up early, got the RV ready to roll, and took off in spite of the wind! John had researched the weather and we changed  our plans for crossing the Rockies on I-70 because of the extremely high winds and snow at the higher elevations----and I am a big chicken! So, we decided to head straight south back to Albuquerque where there was a little less wind and it was not going into the 20's at night! That drive took most of yesterday.

Today we got the oil changed in the Jeep, mailed Halloween cards, did the grocery and Home Depot and headed west on I-40 with plans to end up eventually in the Bryce Canyon area if southern Utah by the end of the week.

Tonight we are resting in Winslow, Arizona-----not standing on a corner!...Debbie and John
