Drove north to Taos, New Mexico today and saw a smattering of fall colors on the mountains at the Taos Ski Valley---beautiful! It was 53 degrees up there, but with the sunshine it was perfect.  We followed the Rio Grande River on our drive to Taos and I was in awe of all the  interesting rock formations, including one that looks just like a camel----hence the name 'Camel Rock ' for the neighboring casino!

Taos is full of art galleries, restaurants and shopping. We met a guy from the RV Forum at a local restaurant and had fun comparing notes and exchanging stories about being fledgling RVers! They have been traveling for about 2 months---so they were the voice of experience between us.

Spent the ride home watching the sun go down behind the mountains and the new moon come up.
As we made the list of all the things we want to do tomorrow we are realizing we need to slow down, that our Jeep delays affected what we were able to do, and that hopefully we can slow the pace a bit.
